Projects:
- Specialized Clinics (Improve Reproductive Health) “Continued”
The project is funded by a grant from the Japanese Small Grant Program in 2013, with funding amount reached 370,000 EGP, which aims to develop a specialized clinic (women – children – internal – teeth – analysis – operating room) with the latest medical equipment, continuously provides a distinguished service at low prices and provides exempted services for breadwinner women counting (606) women
- The Family Planning Center “continued”
The center is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Population, “The National Population Council” and has registration No. 09080502 which provides family planning services at reduced prices in cooperation with the Family Planning Association and the Ministry of Health and Population
- The Microfinance Project
The Association obtained a loan valued at (1,200,000) EGP from the Assembly financed by international cooperation at 8% interest and is disbursed to clients at 14.4% interest. The total loan portfolio is only two million four hundred and fifty-five thousand pounds from 2010 and is still ongoing, where a number of (537) projects have been funded, 420 projects of them are for women. The association manage this project in cooperation with the Assembly of Women’s Health Improvement Associations to improve health and all the dues of the Assembly and interest were paid.
- Social Aid Project
It provides in-kind and financial assistance to (606) seasonal families. A social worker works to serve all villages of Kafr Shukr. It also provides medical convoys in cooperation with the partners, which are the Food Bank Association, the Egypt Good Foundation, the Assembly of Women Associations and the Mufti Development Association.
- SMART project:
It is a grant project from the American Child Rescue Committee amounting (120,000) EGP. It addresses the problem of child bulging serving (30417) people. It was implemented in the villages of (Kafr Safa – Kafr Rajab – Kafr Marwan – Kafr Fanus Masoud – Kafr Salib) and employs (15) employees
- Girls’ Employment in Mother and Child Health Care Initiatives
The project is funded by the Social Fund with a grant from the European Union amount 1 million EGP and employs 65 girls and women. It works from September 1, 2014 and provides health education services as well as literacy. The project serves the villages of Kafr Kurdi, Al Shaqar, Kafr Tasfa, Kafr Rajab, Kafr Marwan, Kafr Fanus, and Mufti
- Training 525 youth leaders from Qalyubia Governorate
The project is within our initiative future us in our hands which aims to empower youths and build a positive spirit to participate in building modern Egypt and find an effective mechanism to sensitize public opinion. The target group is 525 youths and the quantitative outputs of the initiative include targeting 3 centers in the Qalyubiya governorate which is Toukh-Khanka – Qaha and funded by the Ministry of Solidarity Social
Awards
The association won the award of the best health project from PepsiCo in 2015 at 25,000 EGP
The Association won the Excellence Award in 2016 from the Association for Development, third place, the prize value is 25, 000 EGP
Project sustainability:
The association derives its ability to develop and sustainability through achieving the strategic goals of the association in general, which is to provide a better life and achieve a greater level of sustainability by creating investment and productive units with an economic return, through the care of the beneficiaries in terms of providing services provided by the association with high quality to meet the necessary and urgent needs
